A further request

We have received the following request from Karen Lipton, a journalist writing for the magazine Candis. It is adressed to the TSUK and we are presenting it as written...
I'm looking for a case study for women's magazine, Candis, for their Christmas issue and to mark the 5th anniversary of the tsunami. It's for the 'It happened to me section,' and it's a first person account of being involved in the tsunami, how they survived it, what happened to them, and how it has changed their lives since then. I'm looking for a female case study, between the ages of 30 and 55, willing to be named and pictured. It doesn't matter if their story has been elsewhere, although the smaller the better obviously, but with as much drama as possible, and a story of how it's changed their life. Of course, more than happy to credit your organisation and give a donation to charity. I've got quite tight deadlines on this - ideally I'd like to present my editor with a couple of options, but needs to be by Friday. Is this something you'd be able to help with? If you could contact me, asap, either on email, or my mobile is 07801 140439, that would be great.
From TSUK If anyone wants to follow this up Karen's email address is k_lipton@hotmail.com
As far as the TSUK is concerned, our attitude to such requests is this - We don't contact people directly as we always aim to avoid any sort of ownership of the resultant article. We simply pass on any information or query as it comes to us. Our main aim is to represent those who are surviving their experience of the disaster and we do not want to show favour to any organization wishing to focus on the event for their own purposes. While we do not act as censors, neither do we encourage anyone to make contact with the media. If we have information about a project, we publish it and allow members to make up their own minds.
