 You are invited to the TS UK Summer Event for this year. For the first time it will be held in the Cotswolds, just 8 miles south of Stratford upon Avon.

 We have organised a buffet lunch at the Kings Arms in Mickleton, a traditional Cotswold’s country pub. After time to chat and recover from your journey and an update on progress on the national memorial, a short one and a half mile drive will take us to the National Trust property Hidcote Manor Gardens.

Hidcote is one of England’s great gardens. It is famous for its rare trees and shrubs, outstanding herbaceous borders and unusual plants from all over the world. It has featured recently on gardening programmes and even if you’re not a keen gardener it has its own very special and unique character with sweeping views across the Vale of Evesham. In July the borders will be full of colour and the lilies and lacecap hydrangeas will be out. At Hidcote you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings and be assured of a surprise around every corner or visit the largest plant centre in the National Trust or indulge in a traditional cream tea. There are activity sheets available for children and family trails as well as the usual NT facilities.

We have arranged for Tea or Coffee to be available in the small barn at the rear of the Kings Arms from 11.15am onwards. The Kings Arms High Street MICKLETON GL55 6RT is situated on the B4632 between Stratford upon Avon and Broadway.

After a buffet lunch at about 12.30, provided by TS UK, we can then make the short journey to Hidcote Manor Gardens (GL55 6LR) where a group entrance fee will have been paid for any non National Trust members and you will be free to enjoy the beautiful garden at your leisure.

This location and style of Summer Event has been chosen at the request of TS UK members to enable those living north of London an opportunity to come along to a wonderful informal setting.
