Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Tsunami Support (UK) will be held at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday 4^th April in Room GCR 1 & 2, Ground Floor, Main Entrance, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, 2-4 Cockspur Street, London SW1Y 5DH.

• The Chair’s Report
• The Treasurer’s Report
• Election of New Officers and Trustees
• Update on proposed Memorial at the Natural History Museum
• This year’s Summer Event
• Any other business

The current trustees are:

Robert Brewster, co-chair

Steve Gill, co-chair and memorial sub-committee

Kelly Macro, secretary

Jean Dogan, treasurer

Robert Whittle, website co-ordinator

Michael Perry, memorial sub-committee

Tal Berman Howarth,

Roger Jenman, joint events co-ordinator

Barbara Jenman, joint events co-ordinator

Other officers:

Michael Holland, memorial sub-committee

Renuka Marley, proposed fund for families in need

Each of the Trustees will retire and are eligible for re-election.

New Trustees and Officers may be proposed by members providing that the Secretary is given notice that:

(a) is signed by a member entitled to vote at the meeting;

(b) States the member’s intention to propose the appointment of a person as a Trustee or as an officer;

(c) Is signed by the person who is to be proposed to show his or her willingness to be appointed.

Nominations should be sent to Kelly Macro , Secretary, Tsunami Support (UK), 30 Defiant Road, Norwich, Norfolk NR6 6HH to reach her before the meeting.
